United StatesThe LE 5040 does not need two power supplys. After we assembled it we test run it with the Offline controller. Then after i wrote the first review. i tested it with the offline controller and the Micro card and the laser powered up and etcehed the program. Now i have run it with Laser GRBL and with Light Burn and is doing just fine :)) Yes it Really helps to fully read the instructions .
United StatesI have a 3018 Mach 3, and a 3018 Pro Ver with Laser head. we just assembled the Le 5040. We didnt put the Laser head on till after frame was full assembled. Was a little disapointed you didnt mention that the Le5040 needs two power supplys
United StatesItem is fairly easy to put together. Just time consuming. Learning the software is a whole beast in itself. Definitely looking forward to using the laser. Seems like it will be well worth the money.
