8 Channel 5V Relay Module
A Relay is an electrically operated switch. Many relays use an electromagnet to mechanically operate the switch and provide electrical isolation between two circuits.
- This 8 channel 5V relay has both optical and magnetic isolation, providing a lot of protection to the inputs from electrical faults on the outputs.
- Works well with both 3.3V and 5V logic (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Teensy..), requiring little current drive.
- Breadboard friendly, using Female/male dupont makes it extremely convenient for prototyping.
- LED indicates its working status. Red refers to errors.
- 3 terminals per SPDT relay.
All of these features make SainSmart relay a great component for automation projects.

Works good for my project
I've used several of these from the same seller.Highly efficient and after having one constantly working for months on a RC car that I hacked using the Arduino I recommend it.
Thank you!!
It is exactly as advertised, received the item quickly.
does everything its supposed to and it's relays!!! Relays = Awesome!!
Works great for my OpenSprinkler (OSPi) project! Very easy to wire!
Not much else to say other than it's perfect! Works great with Arduino if you add a transistor to prevent it from always being "on". Switches have NO and NC position so you can do just about anything you can imagine with it!
This is a great board for the price.
SainSmart makes great multi channel board.
Working flawlessly and carries a 120V circuit perfectly. The screws do have a tendency to wear but I just swapped one out that did.
